CAR RIG – An Ideal lens for automotive shooting, the variable focal length allows car filmmakers to capture cars driving through a landscape to close-up features.

>11x Zoom Range
With 3 lenses in one kit, Ranger FF Compact Cine zoom series offers an extensive zoom range from 16mm to 180mm.
Extremely Compact and Light
The lens is only ~10cm long and weighs 800g for the regular version. The Lite version is 738g.
Easily used for handheld shooting, mounting on gimbals or even FPV drones. Increase portability, stability and mobility of the setup.
Spectacular AoV up to 107°
Ultra-wide angle lenses are highly sought by cinematographers because of their versatility in framing – able to capture landscapes and close-ups simultaneously.
Featuring a 107° angle of view, breathtaking scenes can be captured in single shots.
Constant T2.9 Large Aperture
For some zoom lenses in the market, there’s a light loss when zooming. The scene appears to be dimmer when it is zoomed in.
Maintaining a constant T2.9 aperture throughout the zoom range allows cinematographers to have the same exposure and ISO setting for multiple scenes.
Excellent Color Rendition & Contrast
Designed with modern optical formula, this tiny 16-30mm image quality is excellent, offering good sharpness contrast.
The colour rendition of the whole series is matched for use as a set.
Parfocal Design
While some cine zoom lenses in the market are varifocal, all 3 Ranger lenses are built with a parfocal design – keeping the object in focus despite zooming in or back out.
Short Min. Focusing Distance
The focusing distance of the Ranger 16-30mm is 33cm (1’11”).
Shoot close at T2.9 can separate the subject from the background and create a painterly depth of field with smooth bokeh.
Unnoticeable Focus-breathing
Focus breathing is usually more visible in zoom lenses than in primes, and it can be distracting for shooting video.
This 16-30mm has almost invisible focus breathing, ensuring a smooth and seamless focus shift performance.
Low Distortion
The optical distortion of the lens is controlled to the minimum even with the ultra-wide angle of view.
Straight lines are retained from edge to edge.
